I’m Laura, a photographer splitting my time between Helsinki, Finland, and Madeira, Portugal. I am a mother, wife, crazy cat lady, and a student. I like to dance and travel and have visited over 70 countries. Before becoming a photographer, I worked as a makeup artist in New York, where I was part of New York Fashion Week and collaborated with models and global brands. In 2016, I was selected to work at the Miss Teen USA pageant. Today, I bring that same artistic eye, refined aesthetic sense, and love for detail into my photography.

For me, photography is about being truly present in the moment and capturing the connection between people. I aim to preserve laughter, stillness, a glance, a touch, the joy — all the small, quiet details that reveal the beauty of everyday life. I love photographing people as I see them: authentic, natural, and completely themselves.
